Method
- Place minced meat in a large bowl
- Fry the onion and garlic until golden brown
- Add a little water and tomato puree to the pan
- Cook for a few minutes
- Add this mixture to the minced meat and mix well
- Shape into meatballs with damp hands
- Drain any excess fat from the pan or gently pat the meatballs with kitchen paper to remove any excess fat
- Add the can of chopped tomatoes to the frying pan and season with pepper
- Cook the meatballs gently in the frying pan for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally
